Seattle Downtown

We are 10 miles from downtown Seattle and are familiar with the hotels, the waterfront, wine bars, cinemas, Pike Place Market, office buildings, SoDo, the industrial area - you name it.

Seatac Airport

We have worked all types of investigations that involve observing people who are traveling. Surveillance at the airport is a specialty that requires a lot of experience.

We do "pick-ups" and "drop-offs". Do you need documentation and/or photos or video of someone departing Seattle via Seatac Airport, or coming into town via the airport? Do you need someone followed once they land?

We are 8 miles from Seatac Airport and are familiar with the facility, the parking, baggage claim, international flights, domestic flights, etc.

June and July Very Busy

During the months of June and July 2011, we have handled a variety of investigations and surveillance, taking us to Tacoma, Seattle, Stanwood, Everett, Tulalip, Bellevue and other locations in the Puget Sound area. We have conducted workers' comp investigations and surveillance; done surveillance on domestic partners; located people who owe money; conducted live and well checks; served papers, and conducted interviews.

March was a Busy Month

Why Hire A Spy?

Because a licensed, insured and experienced PI can do things you cannot or should not do yourself. If you were to camp outside your ex's place or follow them around and were discovered, this might not reflect well on you. Acting as your own PI could be just as foolish as acting as your own attorney. Service of Process/Proof of Service Form

After a process server or PI serves legal papers, they must then fill out a form which confirms that the papers were served. This form goes by many names: Proof of Service, Affidavit of Service, Certificate of service, etc. Sometimes the client provides the blank form, other times the server must come up with the blank form. Usually, the server can find the proper form on a court website; the court in which the case was filed. The server then fills out the form with the information about the serve; when, where and to whom, and then either sends the form to the court, or sends the form to the client, who then files it with the court. Under some circumstances, the form must be notarized, and the server has to visit a notary. The process server should be able to explain the procedure to the client. 24 Hour Investigations, LLC is familiar with the steps that need to be taken to effect proper service. Infidelity Investigations

I get a lot of calls from clients who want surveillance of their significant other to determine if they are being unfaithful. Because of this, I wanted to address some of the issues involved.

What is "infidelity"? It is disloyalty, a breach of trust. Most of all, it is very painful for the one who is being betrayed. This applies equally to both men and women.

Most of my clients have a "gut feeling" that something in their relationship is off. My experience has taught me that the client's feelings are usually right. Not always, but usually.

An investigation can get at the truth, and go a long way to reducing the client's anxiety.

My clients report behavioral "red flags such as: Their partner has become more concerned with their appearance; they are going to the gym, buying new clothes. They are becoming secretive about where they go, who they are with, when they will be coming back home. They don't want the client to see their cell phone or their email. There are long absences from home; working longer hours, overnight trips out of town. They don't answer the phone. They become irritable, defensive or angry when questioned about their behavior. They show a decreased interest in their partner, in their family obligations.

Feeling helpless is not a good place to be. If you can do something about your situation, if you can find out the truth, this is how you get your power back and your life on track.

How did you become an investigator?

I was trained by the best, the U.S. Army. I worked in Europe and the States, collaborating with German undercover investigators, and then stateside with the DEA and the FBI. I investigated murders, suicides, accidental deaths, sexual assaults, and other crimes of a serious and sensitive nature. I processed crime scenes, took crime scene photographs, collected evidence, interviewed witnesses, interrogated suspects, took statements, attended autopsies, and testified in court, working closely with Army prosecutors. I had a Top Secret Clearance and earned two Army Commendation Medals.

After leaving the service, I have worked as a private investigator with highly respected and experienced detectives for several years. I learned every aspect of managing a detective agency and supervising investigations. I am a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers.

How much does a routine background check cost?

Most routine background checks can be done for a basic cost of $55.00 per name, but can be more depending on how much information the client can provide, and what specifically is needed. We can check civil and criminal filings, driving record, bankruptcy and address history.

Does the wrong person have custody of your child(ren)? Are they disobeying court orders, exposing the children to unhealthy people, places or things?
